FAQ
Questions shopkeepers ask
Simple answers about billing, stock, the apps and your data. Can’t find yours? Call or WhatsApp us.

Getting started
How do I start?+
Log in with your phone number and the OTP that comes to it, make your shop, add items and make your first bill. The first 7 days are free.
Can I bring my old item list?+
Yes. Import items from Excel, or take a photo of a supplier bill. Then add opening stock and old udhaar once.
Can my staff use it?+
Yes. Add each person with their own phone number and choose what they may do. Cashiers never see your purchase price or profit.
Billing and GST
Does it make GST bills?+
Yes — tax invoices for GST shops and bills of supply for others, plus a GST report you can give your CA.
Can I print on a thermal printer?+
Yes. Print on A4 or 80/58 mm thermal paper, or send the bill to the customer on WhatsApp.
Which payments can I take?+
Cash, UPI, card and udhaar — or split one bill across them.
Stock and items
Does Bliq manage inventory?+
Yes. Stock goes down with every bill and up with every purchase or return — by size, colour or batch — with a low-stock list.
Can I print barcode labels?+
Yes. Print price and barcode stickers on a label printer roll or an A4 sticker sheet, from the computer or the phone.
Computer, phone and internet
Can I use Bliq on my computer?+
Yes. Download the Bliq Windows app, or open app.bliq.in in Chrome or Edge on any computer or laptop.
Is there a phone app?+
Yes. Download the Android app from bliq.in/download. It is coming to the Play Store too.
Do I need internet?+
Not for billing. Open Bliq once with internet; after that bills are made and printed without it and reach the server when the net is back.
Your data
Is my data safe?+
Only phone numbers you add can open your shop, every change is logged, and your data is kept on servers in India with a backup every day.
Can I take my data out?+
Yes. Download everything as one Excel file whenever you want.
