Guides

Billing guides by shop

How to set up Bliq Billing for your kind of shop — what to add first and which features help most.

Readymade garments and fashion

  • Make one item per design, with its sizes and colours inside
  • Print barcode tags and stick one on every piece
  • Leave GST on “by price”: Bliq picks 5% or 18% from the piece price
  • Use returns and exchange with a credit note
  • Check the low-stock list by size before you reorder

Saree and ethnic wear

  • Sell sarees by the piece and cloth by the metre
  • Keep separate retail and wholesale rates
  • Give regular customers udhaar, and send WhatsApp reminders
  • Enter supplier bills from their PDF or Excel

Footwear

  • Add every size of a model under one item
  • Scan the box barcode or print your own labels
  • Exchange a size with a return and a new bill
  • Reorder only the sizes that are running low

Kirana and general store

  • Add loose items by kg, gram or litre, and packs by the piece
  • Give each item a Hindi name — search it and print it on the bill
  • Keep udhaar in the khata; take part payments with a receipt
  • Turn on batch and expiry for items that need it
  • Bill from the phone too, by speaking the items (Android app)

Many shops

  • Add each shop; every shop gets its own stock, bills and bill numbers
  • Move stock from one shop to another
  • Give staff access only to their shop — you see all of them
  • Compare sales of every shop in the reports
